PM Modi Leads ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ Strategy Session with Council of Ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded a crucial session with his Council of Ministers, focusing on charting the course for “Viksit Bharat: 2047” and formulating an actionable roadmap for the nation’s development over the next five years. The day-long meeting, held on Sunday, delved into key initiatives and a 100-day agenda aimed at kickstarting immediate measures post the formation of a new government in May.

According to government sources, the brainstorming session encompassed intensive discussions on a meticulously crafted vision document for “Viksit Bharat,” which has been in the works for over two years. The formulation of this comprehensive blueprint involved a collaborative effort spanning across ministries, state governments, academia, industry bodies, and civil society. Notably, inputs from over 20 lakh youths were solicited, reflecting a broad-based approach to national development.

The roadmap for “Viksit Bharat” encompasses diverse facets, ranging from economic growth and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to enhancing ease of living and doing business, alongside bolstering infrastructure and social welfare initiatives. This holistic approach aims to address multifaceted challenges while capitalizing on emerging opportunities to propel India towards sustainable progress.

During the meeting, various ministries articulated their proposals, marking a significant milestone in the strategic planning process. As the likelihood of impending Lok Sabha polls looms, this gathering is anticipated to be the final opportunity for the Council of Ministers to synchronize their efforts and fine-tune the government’s agenda before electoral dynamics come into play.

The session underscores the Modi government’s commitment to proactive governance and long-term planning, epitomized by the meticulous preparation and inclusive consultation process underlying the “Viksit Bharat” initiative. By harnessing the collective wisdom of stakeholders and embracing a whole-of-government approach, India aims to realize its aspirations for inclusive growth and prosperity by 2047.

As the nation braces for a transformative journey towards “Viksit Bharat 2047,” Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and strategic vision serve as guiding beacons, steering the country towards a future defined by progress, resilience, and prosperity for all.
