Sunita Kejriwal to Join INDIA Bloc’s ‘Nyay Ulgulan Rally’ in Jharkhand Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024

As Lok Sabha Elections 2024 approach, Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is gearing up to participate in the upcoming “Nyay Ulgulan Rally” organized by the INDIA bloc. Set to take place on April 21 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, this event is expected to draw significant attention and support.

Joining Sunita Kejriwal in this rally are notable figures such as Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, as reported by newswire ANI, citing party sources. The rally, aimed at protesting against the arrest of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, will unfold at the Prabhat Tara Ground.

Preparations for the Nyay Ulgulan Rally have been underway, with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) actively involved in organizing the event. Kalpana Soren, along with other key figures including Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, state president Rajesh Thakur, and MLAs Vinod Singh and Satyanand Bhokta, convened a meeting on April 6 to strategize and mobilize party workers effectively.

Addressing the media, Soren emphasized the importance of widespread participation in the rally, highlighting the need to showcase how the central government is allegedly discriminating against Jharkhand. She underscored the imprisonment of both Hemant Soren and Arvind Kejriwal, urging party members to strengthen the alliance and voice their concerns collectively.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh voiced concerns over the potential consequences of a BJP victory in the upcoming elections. He warned against perceived threats to the constitution and fundamental rights, stating that a BJP-led government could potentially bring about drastic changes, including the end of elections and reservation policies.

The Lok Sabha elections are slated to be held in four phases on May 13, 20, 25, and June 1, indicating a crucial period for political engagement and decision-making. In the previous 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led NDA secured victory in 12 seats in Jharkhand, while the JMM and Congress managed to secure one seat each.

As the political landscape evolves and election fervor intensifies, the participation of key figures like Sunita Kejriwal and the concerns raised by leaders like Sanjay Singh underscore the significance of the upcoming polls. The Nyay Ulgulan Rally serves not only as a platform for political mobilization but also as a symbol of collective action against perceived injustices and inequalities.
