Aishwarya Rai’s Taal is re-releasing on September 27 in 136 theatres across India. The film will be screened with new releases, Devara: Part 1 and Binny and Family, along with old releases, Stree 2 and Yudhra.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Akshay Khanna starrer Taal is re-releasing in theaters again. Subhash Ghai’s highly acclaimed film with hits will be hitting the big screens this Friday. The filmmaker recently visited a special event hosted by Radio Nasha and spoke about the film. He even added that AR Rahman got a ‘minimum’ pay for the music of Taal. As surprising it may sound, Rahman, who was sitting alongside Ghat at the event, suggested that they should do that at the 25th anniversary of Taal.
An Interesting Anecdote By Anil Kapoor
Anil Kapoor too came to attend the event and revealed an interesting fact about the filming of the conclusion of Taal. Kapoor said that Subhash Ghai would deliver dialogue at the last minute. “The climax monologue was to be shot the next day. I said to him, “I’m not coming tomorrow.” You’re not giving me the scene. He knows me so well that he said, “Theek hai. Mat aa'” (Don’t come). “I woke up the next day and decided not to go. But I was worried about what will happen if I didn’t go to the shoot.”. And I was worried that ‘Kahin scene alteration kar ke dialogue Akshaye Khanna ko na de de’ I had reached the sets at 12:30 p.m. He was relaxed because he knew I was coming. We must have finished the scenes in 2-3 hours,\” Anil Kapoor revealed.
Taal will hit the screens in 136 theatres.
Subhash Ghai’s Taal is to re-release on September 27 in 136 theatres all over India. The film will be playing with new releases, Devara: Part 1 and Binny and Family with older releases, Stree 2 and Yudhra.

Taal is a romantic drama which was released in August 1999. It is about the love story of Mansi, a talented singer and dancer with a soul from a small town, with Manav, the son of an industrialist.
The film goes into the depths of cultural differences that influence the romantic journey of the couple and misunderstandings created through it. Taal is another Subhash Ghai directorial gem with another great soundtrack by AR Rahman. Anil Kapoor is at his best as music producer Vikrant Kapoor in one of the best performances he ever gave in his career.
