Shankh Air wants to bring in some very interesting aspects of the in-flight offerings, bringing in the aura of Indian hospitality through its culinary offerings on its flights.

Shankh Air is ready to take to the skies: In a move to give a much-needed boost to air travel in India, the aviation sector is preparing for the arrival of a new airline that styles itself as Shankh Air. Shankh Air, India’s newest airline, gets a nod from the Union Civil Aviation Ministry for its operations in the country.

According to the media, the airline was given a No Objection Certificate. However, its validity is for three years. However, the airline needs to clear all documents with the DGCA before flying. The Aviation Ministry has asked the airline to complete all its procedures so the airline gets all permissions from the FDI as well as the other regulatory body, SEBI.

Shankh Air, a subsidiary of Shankh Aviation Private Limited, is all set to become the first scheduled airline in Uttar Pradesh. Shankh Aviation Pvt. Ltd., led by young and energetic entrepreneur Sharvan K Vishwakarma (Chairman), is all set to create a new benchmark in aviation with its new initiative, Shankh Air from the heartland of Uttar Pradesh-Lucknow.

Some of the USPs that the airline would want to provide in its offering to the passengers include exclusive comfortable seats, wider seating pitches, and global standard service deliveries.

According to the company website, Shankh Air would be the first scheduled airline originating from Uttar Pradesh. It would offer a hassle-free flying experience to passengers over hubs over Lucknow and Noida. It will offer intercity as well as intra-state routes to all the major cities in the country, with the main focus being on cities of high demand and relatively fewer direct flight options.

Shankh Air Will Operate The Boeing 737-800NG Aircraft

Shankh Air starts its operations with a well-equipped modern fleet of narrow-body new-generation Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft furnished with the latest modern technology and amenities. From spacious twin-class cabins to meals on board to in-flight entertainment systems, the airline is determined to give passengers the ultimate flying experience.

Shankh Air is in advanced talks with Global Lessors for aircraft and is soon to announce its formal deals. As it takes off, this airline will bring a new breeze to the Indian skies, bringing competitive pricing, reliability, passenger comfort, and ease of flying.

Competitive pricing with twin-class offerings, technological integration, and customer-centric service-oriented airlines with a focus on on-time performance and high dispatch reliability for Tier II and Tier III cities has emerged as the mini feeder for all metro airports.
