First 20-coach Vande Bharat Express to Start Run: Check Timings, Route, Ticket Price

Vande Bharat Express train has come as a quicker alternative for all passengers to commute between New Delhi and Varanasi while the first 20-coach operation was fully functional.

India’s first 20-coach Vande Bharat Express train started its commercial operations from Varanasi on September 18. This train connecting New Delhi with Varanasi was notable for being flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week.

The advent of this Vande Bharat Express train allows passengers traveling from New Delhi to Varanasi the option of a more rapid transit between the two cities. This new Vande Bharat Express train was developed by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai and offers an impressive 1,440 seats-a very good jump from the previous 16- and 8-coach editions. This

The train covers 771 km in 8 hours.

The 771 km distance will be covered in approximately 8 hours when operated under the Northern Railway zone with the replacement of earlier models.

So far, only two 20-coach Vande Bharat Express trains have been introduced on the New Delhi-Varanasi route and these trains will be operated and maintained by the Northern Railway zone.

The passengers should note that New Delhi-Varanasi 20 Coach Vande Bharat Express train services comprise train numbers 22436/22435 and 22415/22416, covering 771 km distance in nearly 8 hours. So, it would be the fastest to cover distance on the route.

Vande Bharat Express: Check route, schedule

Train No 22415 (Varanasi to New Delhi) leave from Varanasi at 06:00 and arrive at 14:05.

Then, train no. 22435 from Varanasi to New Delhi is a departure time from Varanasi at 15:00 hours and it arrives at 23:00 hours.

The new Vande Bharat Express will stop at two stations namely Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central and travelers between Varanasi and the national capital will have much better travel options

Vande Bharat Express: Ticket fare

The total seating capacity of these new Vande Bharat Express trains would stand at 1,440 passengers. Two options for seating would be AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. The ticket fare in the AC Chair Car from Varanasi to New Delhi is Rs 1,795. The fare of Executive Chair Car for the same would be Rs 3,320.
