The rally is planned to be held at Srinagar’s Sher-e-Kashmir Park, and according to the local media, around 30000 party workers and supporters would participate in it.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, also addressed a public gathering a day after the first phase of polling in Assembly polls in the Jammu and Kashmir region on Thursday. Beginning his speech with a traditional ‘hello’ in Kashmiri to the people of Srinagar, PM Modi said that we want to transform Kashmir, and the message has come with him.
PM Modi In Srinagar
Speaking at a rally in Srinagar, PM Modi appealed to the people of the J&K to come out in big numbers and vote. ‘It would be interesting to join the festival of democracy. The first phase commenced, and for the first time, voting has been conducted without threats of terrorism. Still, it is over. There are many people who have shown up, which includes children and elders.”
The Prime Minister also commended the territory for voting record-high and making history. The people of J&K have penned this history and say: This depicts that the superstructure of the people of J&K is at a new high. The world is seeing how people of J&K are proactively enhancing the democracy of India.”
Targeting the Congress, NC, and PDP, PM Modi said, ‘I had said three families are eager to divide J&K since they’re angry.’ That, they want to take the chair and steal you all.” They do not wish the people of J&K to attain their rights, and that has been their spirit.”
“Our youth were sent out of schools and colleges for anything; they were dispersed, and these three families (Congress, NC, and PDP) were happy with filling stones in their hands. These people have destroyed the future of the children for their own self,” the PM said while addressing a rally.
They have provided an employment opportunity to the youth here; this is Modi’s vision, Modi’s commitment. This is why I have not allowed another generation of ours to be killed by these three families. This is why I am honestly trying to bring back peace here once again. In the present scenario, educational institutions such as schools and colleges are functional across Jammu and Kashmir. Young people have pens, books, and laptops, thereby showing the importance of computers in their daily lives.”
“They also did not protect our sacred places. We, as people, are grateful to the new authorities for our rescue. They said, ‘Film shootings had stopped and cinemas were shut.’ PM Modi said, “Once unfurling the tricolor at Lal Chowk was about risking your life, Srinagar markets have now witnessed Eid and Diwali celebrations.”.
Pointing out the grim phase that was witnessed in the state, the Prime Minister referred to the three families, which made Kashmiri Pandits pay a heavy price. I think they were involved in the suppression of Sikhs. We are erasing Dil ki aur Delhi ke duri.”
People are now relieved that rail is coming to link Kashmir and Delhi. G20, car race, yoga day, and all this is Kashmiryat. Kashmiryat, for which people of Kashmir Valley shared their socio-cultural life with immense warmth and cordiality. Three families want to revive the time that was. Ever since seventy-five thousand in three thousand three hundred and fifty days Kashmir was closed in the last three and a half decades, there is no shutdown now. Did you want killings again?” PM Modi said.
