Sopore, a town in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, had a really busy morning on August 24, 2024. There was a heavy gunfight going on between security forces and some terrorists. It all started when the Indian army, CRPF, and local police were doing a search operation. They had good intel and moved in early in the morning.
As soon as the forces arrived, the terrorists began shooting. The sound of gunfire filled the air, which made things quite tense for everyone nearby. To keep people safe, local residents were told to stay inside their homes.
After several hours of intense fighting, the security forces managed to end the standoff. Sadly, two terrorists were killed during this conflict. Their names haven’t been shared yet.
