Naresh Mohan, a revered media veteran and former President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. Mohan, whose career in journalism spanned several decades, left an indelible mark on the Indian media landscape.

Vijay Darda, Chairman of Lokmat Media, echoed similar sentiments, acknowledging Mohan’s dedication and impact on the media industry. “Deeply saddened by the demise of Shri Naresh Mohan ji, a distinguished and dedicated personality whose decades-long career left an indelible impact on the media industry. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti,” Darda stated.
