Wipro, a prominent IT major, has clinched a significant partnership with Independent Health, the sole 5-Star Rated Medicare Advantage Plan in Western New York. The collaboration aims to implement Wipro’s Medicare Prescription Payment Plan platform (MPPP360) for the forthcoming open enrollment period starting in 2025.
This initiative comes as part of a new law designed to enhance access to affordable treatments and fortify Medicare services. The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan will revolutionize the payment structure for prescription drugs, allowing enrollees to make capped monthly payments, among other alterations.
In an exchange filing, Wipro stated that its MPPP360 platform will aid Independent Health in simplifying the payment process and seamlessly integrating the new provisions. This move is expected to streamline prescription cost management for Medicare recipients in Western New York.

Odrzywolski underscored the organization’s dedication to providing innovative solutions to meet varying healthcare needs, supporting their industry-leading 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for three consecutive years.
