Wipro’s Anne-Marie Rowland Takes Helm as CEO at Capco
In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its consulting business, IT major Wipro has announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Rowland as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capco, the prominent London-headquartered consulting firm acquired by Wipro for $1.45 billion in 2021.
Effective April 1, 2024, Rowland, who presently serves as the Managing Partner of Capco’s operations in the UK and Ireland and is a vital member of Capco’s global leadership team, will ascend to the CEO position. This transition marks a significant milestone for Capco as it prepares for a new chapter under Rowland’s leadership.
The outgoing CEO, Lance Levy, a stalwart who has steered Capco for nearly a decade, will transition into a pivotal role as a Strategic Advisor. Levy’s extensive experience and strategic acumen will continue to be instrumental in guiding Capco’s trajectory and aligning its goals with Wipro’s overarching consulting strategy.
