Strengthening the Socioeconomic Fabric: Collaborative Efforts of Centre and Haryana Government to Empower Marginalized Communities

In a recent address, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of Haryana highlighted the concerted efforts of the BJP-led governments at both the Centre and in Haryana towards the upliftment of marginalized communities. Emphasizing transparency and proactive measures, Saini underscored the commitment to address the needs of the underprivileged sections of society.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has prioritized the welfare of the poor and marginalized, initiating various programs aimed at their upliftment. This includes comprehensive initiatives catering to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities, thereby fostering inclusive growth and development.

Echoing these sentiments, Chief Minister Saini elaborated on the strides taken by the BJP government in Haryana over the past nine-and-half years to bolster the welfare of the disadvantaged segments. Notably, emphasis has been placed on providing employment avenues based solely on merit, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for all.

During his interaction with reporters following his visit to Nada Sahib Gurdwara in Panchkula, Saini lauded the transformative journey of development witnessed under the ten-year tenure of the Narendra Modi government. Accompanied by prominent leaders including Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Ambala, Banto Kataria, Saini embarked on a visit to Karnal, where the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Haryana was set to commence.

En route to Karnal, Chief Minister Saini engaged in a roadshow, connecting with residents of Ambala and Kurukshetra districts, reaffirming his confidence in securing all ten Lok Sabha seats for Prime Minister Modi, akin to the resounding victory witnessed in the 2019 general elections. Urging citizens to rally behind Prime Minister Modi’s vision of propelling the nation towards comprehensive development, Saini articulated aspirations of realizing a “Viksit (developed)” India by 2047.

Addressing inquiries regarding former minister Anil Vij’s absence from his swearing-in ceremony, Chief Minister Saini extended respect towards Vij, acknowledging his invaluable guidance to the government.

Looking ahead, the upcoming sixth phase of polling scheduled for May 25 will witness elections across Haryana’s ten Lok Sabha constituencies. Concurrently, the bypoll for the Karnal assembly seat, vacated following the resignation of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, is slated for the same day, with Khattar nominated as the BJP candidate for the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency.

In summary, the collaborative efforts between the Centre and the Haryana government underscore a proactive approach towards socio-economic empowerment, ensuring inclusive growth and holistic development for all sections of society. Through initiatives promoting meritocracy, inclusive governance, and visionary leadership, the trajectory is set towards a more equitable and prosperous future for the people of Haryana.
