Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Alleges BJP and BRS Plot to Oust Congress Government

Telangana’s Chief Minister and TPCC President, A Revanth Reddy, has launched a scathing attack on opposition parties, particularly the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing them of orchestrating a conspiracy to overthrow the Congress-led government in the state.

Speaking at a public gathering in Manuguru, Chief Minister Reddy asserted that the recent implementation of the ‘Abhaya Hastam’ programs has sent shockwaves through the opposition ranks. He highlighted BJP leader Laxman’s repeated assertions that the government would not survive beyond the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, insinuating a collaborative effort between the BJP and BRS to destabilize the ruling Congress.

Revanth Reddy further alleged a strategic coordination between the BJP and BRS, pointing out discrepancies in candidate announcements across certain constituencies. He questioned the delay in nominating KCR’s daughter, Kavitha, as a BRS candidate from Nizamabad, hinting at underlying political maneuvers.

The Chief Minister went on to challenge the opposition’s integrity, urging KTR to question his father, K Chandrasekhar Rao, on the fulfillment of promises made by BRS over the past decade. Reddy juxtaposed his government’s rapid implementation of initiatives, including the creation of 30,000 jobs within 90 days, against the alleged negligence and malfeasance of previous administrations.

Accusing KCR and his associates of corruption and mismanagement, Chief Minister Reddy likened them to notorious historical figures, drawing attention to infrastructural failures like the Kaleshwaram project. He emphasized the pivotal role played by Congress and Sonia Gandhi in championing the cause of Telangana statehood, highlighting the fulfillment of promises made to the electorate.

Reiterating the achievements of the Congress government, Reddy cited examples such as free travel for 24 crore women on RTC buses, increased healthcare coverage under Arogyasri, and subsidized gas cylinders. He underscored the party’s commitment to empowering marginalized communities and delivering tangible benefits to the people of Telangana.

Reflecting on the legacy of the Telangana movement, Chief Minister Reddy invoked the struggles of the past and pledged to continue advocating for the rights of Dalits, tribals, and minorities. He expressed gratitude to the people of Khammam for their unwavering support and praised Congress workers for their resilience in the face of political challenges.

In conclusion, Revanth Reddy’s impassioned address underscores the intensifying political landscape in Telangana, with the BJP and BRS facing allegations of collusion to destabilize the Congress government. As the state gears up for crucial elections, the rhetoric and actions of political leaders like Reddy will undoubtedly shape the future trajectory of Telangana’s governance.
