Arunachal Pradesh Government Boosts Employee Welfare with 4% Dearness Allowance Hike

The Arunachal Pradesh government has taken a significant stride towards enhancing the welfare of its workforce by announcing a generous 4 per cent increase in dearness allowance (DA) for its employees, officials disclosed on Tuesday.

This latest hike, effective from January 1, marks a crucial development benefiting a total of 68,818 state government employees and 33,200 pensioners, amplifying their financial security, as confirmed by officials.

The augmentation raises the DA for employees and dearness relief (DR) for pensioners to a commendable 50 per cent. Emphasizing the financial implications of this decision, authorities indicated that the state would allocate an additional Rs 124.20 crore annually to facilitate this enhanced welfare measure.

In a statement underscoring the government’s unwavering commitment to the populace, Chief Minister Pema Khandu remarked, “Under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, our double-engine sarkar is steadfastly dedicated to ensuring the welfare of all citizens, particularly those who are instrumental in delivering essential government services.”

Khandu further rallied support for continued collective efforts towards fostering the all-encompassing growth and prosperity of Arunachal Pradesh. This initiative not only acknowledges the vital role played by government employees but also reflects a broader commitment to inclusivity and progress spearheaded by the state government.

The decision to bolster employee welfare aligns with the overarching vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, emphasizing inclusive development and socio-economic empowerment across all sectors. This move not only serves to enhance the financial well-being of government personnel but also underscores the government’s recognition of their invaluable contributions to the state’s progress.

As Arunachal Pradesh strides forward on its developmental journey, initiatives like this not only uplift the morale of the workforce but also foster a conducive environment for sustained growth and prosperity. By prioritizing the welfare of its employees and pensioners, the state government sets a commendable precedent, showcasing its steadfast commitment to ensuring the holistic development and well-being of its citizens.

In conclusion, the Arunachal Pradesh government’s decision to augment dearness allowance underscores its unwavering dedication to the welfare of its employees and pensioners. This progressive step not only bolsters financial security but also reaffirms the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth and prosperity across the state.
