Hospitality and Amusement Park Sectors Unite: MoU Signed for Industry Collaboration

In a move towards fostering collaboration and enhancing sustainable development, the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI) announced on Monday the signing of an initial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI).

The MoU outlines a strategic partnership aimed at exploring collaborative opportunities and synergies between the hospitality and amusement park industries, FHRAI stated in a press release. Through this initiative, both associations seek to facilitate meaningful interactions and business engagements among their members, with a focus on achieving collective growth and mutual benefits through cross-industry collaborations.

FHRAI President Pradeep Shetty hailed the MoU as a significant milestone in fostering synergy within the hospitality and amusement park sectors. “By working together, we can unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation, ultimately benefiting our members and the industry at large,” Shetty remarked.

Outlined within the MoU are several key areas of cooperation, including the sharing of association publications such as in-house magazines, newsletters, and periodicals. Additionally, both associations will collaborate on disseminating important news, information, and event details to their respective members through various channels, including email, websites, publications, and digital media platforms.

Moreover, the agreement encompasses the exchange of faculty for conferences and webinars, reciprocal booth arrangements at major events and exhibitions organized by each association, and concessional rates for association members to participate in events and conferences.

FHRAI emphasized that the MoU, effective immediately upon signing, is based on mutual understanding and will have no legal or financial implications on either organization, its members, office bearers, or secretariat.

This strategic collaboration between FHRAI and IAAPI signifies a concerted effort towards promoting industry collaboration, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable growth within the hospitality and amusement park sectors.
