PM Modi’s Battle Cry in Bengal: “Ei Baar, NDA Sarkar 400 Paar

In a fiery address at a BJP rally in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), setting the stage for a fierce political showdown ahead of the state elections. Here are the top highlights from PM Modi’s speech:

  1. PM Modi lambasted the TMC government, accusing it of prioritizing “corruption, nepotism, and betrayal” over the development of West Bengal. He emphasized how the people of Bengal had been let down by the TMC’s governance, which had become synonymous with atrocities and betrayal.
  2. Criticizing the TMC’s exploitation of women as a vote bank, PM Modi highlighted how Mamata Banerjee’s government had failed to address the concerns of women, despite leveraging slogans like ‘Maa, Maati, Manush’ (Mother, Land, People) for political gains.
  3. Referring to the Sandeshkhali incident, where women were denied justice, PM Modi accused the TMC government of allowing criminals to dictate terms in Bengal. He underscored the need for justice and accountability in governance.
  4. Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support at the rally, PM Modi invoked the slogan “Ei Baar, NDA Sarkar 400 Paar” (This time, NDA government crossing 400 seats), signaling the BJP’s determination to secure a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.
  5. Highlighting the Centre’s initiatives for Bengal, PM Modi emphasized the importance of development projects worth over ₹22,000 crores. However, he criticized the TMC government for obstructing the implementation of these projects, citing examples like AIIMS in Kalyani.
  6. PM Modi accused the TMC of fostering a culture of violence and intimidation, alleging that the party’s goons and land mafias operated with impunity in Bengal. He also criticized the government for obstructing environmental clearances for development projects.
  7. Drawing attention to healthcare, PM Modi highlighted the Central government’s initiatives to provide medical assistance to the poor, lamenting that the benefits were being denied to the people of Bengal due to TMC’s obstructionist policies. He underscored the significant improvement in the healthcare infrastructure in Bengal under the Central government’s initiatives.

PM Modi’s rallying cry resonates with the aspirations of the people of West Bengal, as he presents a compelling vision for a future marked by development, accountability, and inclusive governance under the NDA. As the political landscape heats up in Bengal, the stage is set for a high-stakes electoral battle, with PM Modi leading the charge for change and progress.
